If your email address in Settings was changed or was deleted, and then an Import Data was performed, the Import Data action will not work. If you replace your email address in Settings with the correct email address, Import Data can still not work. In this case go to the Arrow Into the Cloud button, and click Register to re-register your device with the Price Book website. Now Import Data should work again correctly.

Import from website starts to work and it shows 24 items to import but only imports 5 of the 24 and then closes. |

The crash occurred when trying to import the sixth item. The reason for the crash is that there is a single quote in the Brand name as "Lay's". The iPhone database isn't set up to handle single or double quotes in items. I've tried to not allow the user to put single or double quotes in an item name or price data, but somehow you've found a way to do it! :-). If you could tell me how you got the single quote in there I'd appreciate it so I can fix it. If you remove that quote, (and all single or double quotes) the download should work fine. Please let me know if you are still having problems. Last edited: Wed, 28 Apr 2010, 09:31pm by admin |

I'm having the same problem - mine now gets to 44 of 54, and crashes. I deleted what I thought was item 44, but it still hangs & is trying to download 54 items, which makes me wonder what it's seeing? Thanks for your help!
